South Africa | Botswana | Namibia | Indian Ocean Islands | Madagascar | Mozambique | Zimbabwe | Zambia | Kenya | Tanzania | Uganda | Rwanda
South Africa
*Outdoor activities on land and sea *explore vibrant cities, lush vineyards, scenic coastlines, and thrilling safaris *Big Five *cultural diversity *excellent dining and fine wines
My home country, South Africa, is a Rand currency-based destination. This translates favourably to most international travellers and the quality of accommodation, dining options, shopping, activities and services are honestly world class. It’s one of the best “value for money” travel destinations in the world today.
Botswana
*Pristine wilderness and abundant wildlife *Okavango Delta *mokoro trips and game drives *vastness of the Makgadikgadi Pans *Kalahari Desert with unique species adapted to its harsh beauty *unique experience
One of my absolute favourites, this world heritage destination is simply enchanting. Here you feel alive, the wilderness awakens your senses. At times, it will have your heart racing and at times your eyes will be wet at the wonder of its natural beauty and wildlife encounters. Lefelo le lentle*.
* Lefelo le lentle (Setswana) – beautiful place
Namibia
*Land of stark beauty and ancient landscapes *towering sand dunes of Sossusvlei *shipwrecks along the rugged Skeleton Coast *Etosha National Park desert adapted wildlife *Towering Fish River Canyon and surreal scenery of the Namib Desert
My extraordinary first home. If you have time, if you are a photographer or simply enjoy uniquely beautiful landscapes, if you appreciate the silence and sounds of nature and can take to the dirt road for an adventure, this is the place for you. Here, the air is so fresh it tickles your lungs, and the gazillion stars at night will astound you.
Indian Ocean Islands
*Escape to the paradise of the Indian Ocean Islands * Mauritius *Seychelles *pristine beaches and warm turquoise waters * vibrant culture *water sports *unique biodiversity
Always a popular combination with a safari trip, we like to call it a beach & bush adventure, showcasing two completely opposite gems of Africa’s great natural diversity. This is an absolute win for newlyweds too, the calm and romance of the islands combined with the adventure of safari make for an unforgettable honeymoon.
Madagascar
*Biodiversity hotspot *lush rainforests *unique wildlife found nowhere else in the world *azure waters and pristine beaches *colourful coral reefs await *warm hospitality and rich traditions
For those wanting to explore “off the beaten track”, Madagascar is an island vacation that combines the intrigue of the ocean with the wonders of a unique wilderness.
Mozambique
*Hidden gem along Africa’s eastern coast *sun-kissed beaches *palm-fringed shores offer idyllic escapes * dive Bazaruto Archipelago coral reefs *Explore Maputo, with its colonial architecture and bustling markets
Another popular destination that works well on its own if you are seeking a relaxing beach holiday or that can be combined with other destinations to make for an African trip that “has it all”.
Zimbabwe
*Land blessed with mesmerizing beauty and rich cultural heritage *majestic spectacle of Victoria Falls * timeless ruins of Great Zimbabwe *Hwange National Park safari *Visit the shores of Lake Kariba *explore the pristine wilderness of Mana Pools renowned for its landscapes and intimate encounters with wildlife.
A heartfelt favourite, the birthplace of my dad and a country that has so much to showcase. Mosi-oa-Tunya* is breathtaking, the people have smiles so bright, you will never forget them and a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River is a soul stirring experience.
*Mosi-oa-Tunya (Lozi) – The Smoke that Thunders, the local name for Victoria Falls
Zambia
*Untamed wilderness *Victoria Falls and the vibrant village of Livingstone * South Luangwa and the Lower Zambezi National Parks game drives, boating and walking safaris *Zambezi River *vast plains of the Kafue
A safari destination growing boldly in stature and that is a “must do” for seasoned safari goers looking for new adventures. This untamed wilderness is a privilege to experience.
Kenya
*The heart of Africa, a land of unparalleled beauty and diversity *Great Migration in the Maasai Mara *rich traditions of Maasai warriors and Samburu tribespeople *majestic elephants of Amboseli National Park *snow-capped peaks of Mount Kenya *pristine beaches of the Swahili Coast
I always think of Karen Blixen’s line in the book and movie “Out of Africa” when I think of Kenya. “I had a farm in Africa, but I did not own it – the land owned me.” Kenya can capture your heart and leave you with a connection to the continent like no other.
Tanzania
*Where the wonders of nature and vibrant cultures await *breathtaking beauty of the Serengeti *annual Great Migration *rooftop of Africa, Mount Kilimanjaro *spice-scented alleys of Stone Town in Zanzibar *Dive into the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean *vibrant coral reefs and marine life
Stone Town’s winding cobblestone streets, the Dhows that grace the shores, the aromatic coffee and spice plantations and the thrill of a hot air balloon safari over the plains of the Serengeti are bucket list experiences you do not want to miss.
Uganda
*Unique and untamed land *lush landscapes and a diversity of wildlife *dense jungles *encounter endangered mountain gorillas *cruise along the Nile River *Murchison Falls *rich culture of vibrant cities like Kampala.
Uganda is a great place to combine with a safari to one of the other East African countries like Kenya or Tanzania, if you are also keen on seeing the mountain gorillas.
Rwanda
*A poignant destination *land of remarkable resilience and natural beauty *verdant landscapes *encounter endangered mountain gorillas *pay homage at Genocide Memorial in Kigali *picturesque shores of Lake Kivu
A country that has risen from a dire history, Rwanda now stands proudly at the top of destinations to visit in Africa to discover untouched wildlife destinations and the endangered mountain gorillas. Seeing the gorillas in their natural habitat, watching their behaviour and interactions, is a once in a lifetime experience and a privilege, that you will never forget.
We were gobsmacked by your attention to detail, leaving us little welcome notes in each location and ensuring we had our boarding passes for each leg and directions for our drives. A truly outstanding level of service. 10/10 (I very very rarely give 10/10!)

I cannot compliment you enough. You made wonderful selections for our stays and experiences. I know that you are a friend of Nick, but managed to make us feel a friend as well who could ask you anything. That is a lovely presence that you have.
